Expressions of racism and discrimination are wrong. Confronting such sentiments and beliefs, when they exist, is best accomplished within the family structure where such comments are made and promoted. Oh, Please. Give it up. Do you support family values? Christian teachings? Doing the right thing? Why do you seem so upset that a suggestion was made to discuss discrimination, racism, prejudice at home with family ... if/when it exists?
The article says nothing about children reporting anyone, it simply says there is nothing wrong with speaking up within your family to inform them when they do something racist. I do that all the time with my parents.
