Even if a guy with a hoody on is the best person in the world it is not something that makes most people comfortable when you see that AT NIGHT as he was stating. The same for the white guy with tattoos in the same setting.
If Mark Cuban had stated a white guy with a hoody and a black guy with tattoos which is exactly the same.
To me people who think this is racist are to me the racists! This is just what most people don't feel comfortable are about any more due to the crime rates and facts.
Even Robin Roberts stated this morning that we should stop labeling people into racists if they just bring something up to have a discussion.
When will the discussion start about being illegally taped inside your house?
Just because a black kid would have a hoodie on, he'll cross the street?
That's stupid and weak.
Very weak... I know what he was trying to say and the whole interview puts it in context but tye reality is a hoodie on a black man scares a lot of white people.
But if itw a white guy he has to look like a skinhead neo nazi to make him cross the street. I know he was generalizing but once again... a black man in a hoody is the boogeyman for some reason.
Cubam needs to shut up but I know he cant... he is from Pittsburgh so I get it. Race is still a big issue once you leave downtown Pittsburgh.
Well, that certainly establishes that all blacks with hoodies are criminals.
I'm curious who do you blame for creating(and empowering) that stereotype.
