You can make BB guns a bright color but they are making guns different colors and also adding patterns to them. So that would defeat the purpose.

One of the stories being put forth by the guy who was with the guy shot was that he was running away when shot. If the kid has wounds in the back the cops story becomes very awkward.

We shall see but the police force appears in no hurry to clear the record.

Why?

Fleeing felons of the dangerous kind can be shot at any point...

There are no queensbury rules when you commit a dangerous felony crime.. and DO NOT surrender

Hasn't anyone figured out having kids walking around with these darn things out in the open in today's America is just asking for someone to get blown away?

Where's the mental gymnastics come from that would identify an AR-15 as a deadly "assault" weapon that should be restricted from adult possession but leave the stupid toys that look exactly like their deadly counterparts immune from restriction?

I'm not seeing the logic in any of these stupid decisions.

A toy designed specifically to copy a real firearm should be protested off the shelves; where's the public outrage?
Wonder if he had the classic Daisy 30-30 type BB level action if this would have happened?

Floorist - don't Airsoft guns fire projectiles of some type? I don't see how they are different than BB guns, just a newer manufacturer.

Default Autopsy

On the face of it, it sounds as if the officer had a legitimate reason to use lethal force. The autopsy says nothing about King being shot in the back.
