The vast majority are addressing people making statements not in evidence even after it already has been pointed out to them.
That is a part of the problem and why the good cops have it so hard now.
You also have to toss in the good cops that are thrown under the bus for political expediency. That happens as well.
As for your statement about bad cops being covered for, I've seen it on several occasions so I can't argue, it most certainly DOES happen.
I know of one many years ago where a Vietnamese cop "accidentally" shot a (white) guy in the head, while sitting on top of him.
Cop should have gone to jail for manslaughter but, well, you know the drill...
Oh please. The gun, toy or other, isn't the issue. I don't understand why we allow "parents" to manufacture offspring that are identical in every way to thugs and murderers. We should be prosecuting these so-called parents when their minor-aged children commit violent criminal acts.
Personally, I've always thought that toy guns should not be the same color as a real gun. International or Hunter orange or bright yellow is what the whole gun should be for at least some chance of easy identification. If one alters the color of the gun to make it look more "real" then one get's the stupid prize which (sadly) could be 10 cents worth of led.
With that being said, a BB or Pellet gun is a REAL gun that can cause REAL damage and in some cases death.
Please give me one reason beyond sales marketing as to why a BB gun should look like a Colt 1911?[/quote]
I had toy guns as a child. They look EXACTLY like real firearms. If they didn't we would not want to play with them.
And I'm talking about TOYS. BB guns are not toys. And why in the hell is a 13 year old walking around with a BB gun even if he isn't planning on robbing a store? Big payday for their deadbeat parents?

It's a drill that certain communities have seen over and over.
Evading arrest on foot....pretty sure that is a law.
Arrested for what? There is no proof he did anything wrong. Why was the person with him simply allowed to leave? Something does not make sense there. Maybe the entire story?

You have no clue what kind of parents he had. Obviously, a black kid in a big city so his parents obviously have to be deadbeats, right?

So it is okay for you to speculate, it is not okay for others to?
Ahh there's that "race realism"; seems like Hillary was onto something here
i didn't see any mention of race there.
where do you see it?
