One could make the same argument to those who are so nosy and wish to control whether or not women can get an abortion.
Nevertheless, I'd be willing to bet recruitment for terrorist groups will spike tremendously. I can see examples of young men becoming radicalized, because they were wrongly separated from their families or unable to go see a dying relative in one of the banned countries in fear of not being able to return to the U.S. I hope not, because it's so scary and plausible.
As usual, the supporters lack foresight are never smart enough to think about the long term and potential risks of a decision.
How does it effect your life positively? Most Trump supporters live in areas of the country that have no Muslims or refugees; the only information they get comes straight from the fearmongoring right wing media.
American jobs for Americans.. Theres 1. Less threat of terror attacks by non-assimilating people who are EASILY brainwashed to be radicalized by nutty mullahs. Like the protestors. Theres 2. Less people to foot the bill for when there are plenty of other countries these people can go to. Theres 3.
It works great for ISIS recruiting, turning it into a very clear religious war instead of terrorists vs the US. As such, people I care about in the military are endangered.
I think in the first week of our new president, we have lost our standing in the world as the great leader which our country has always been. Think beyond our country and see the big picture. What he is doing is disstabilizing our relationships with other countries. If we don't have allies then we are nothing.
But how is this our problem or responsibility? There has long been violence/war all over the world. Do we have a responsibility towards all victims of war? Or only some? Why some and not others?
As more and more young people turn away from organized religion. White evangelicals will be the instrument of their own demise. Hatred, fearmongering, and Donald Trump is what they are known for.
So you look forward to seeing more people in the country turn away from religion, buy you want to......bring tens of thousands of very religious people into the country? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Actually, it's quite true. Right wingers live in a bubble where they don't deal with people different than them and thus are easily preyed on with fear. And the vast majority watch Fox News, which is proven to make people less informed.
Again, that is total horse crap.
