Just stop Welfare , except as a short-term, once in a lifetime step up.

Agreed.

But DNC would lose their "base".

No, I meant for you to stop. Welfare isn't going anywhere

I think you might be surprised at who takes the most advantage of welfare. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.was...-class-whites/

It's the red states that suck the most welfare, and blue states that pay the bills for the poor Republicans.

I'd also like to see job training by having these women take care of other women's kids in a community childcare in exchange for a small allowance and job referrals. They will learn how to show up on time for a job and follow orders. I'd like to see employers earn a tax break for hiring these women later.
I would never allow some of the welfare mothers I was in workshops with care for any child of mine.

"Give a (wo)man a fish and you feed him/her for a day. Teach a (wo)man to fish and you feed him/her for a lifetime."
I was nodding yes until you threw in that childcare part.

IMO, childcare should be provided by the smartest of us, not the dumbest. Let them get job training somewhere else. Indigent kids should not have to suffer for others ignorance and bad choices.

I want all kids to have the best and brightest teachers this society can provide. That is how we are going to get out of this mess we have created.

You need to have lot more knowledge and respect for pre schoolers.

And no one is stopping you from wanting that, but you aren't going to get it, that's reality
