What you are talking about already exists. It has existed for decades. How do you think politicians stay in power?

Not exactly right....

"Those advocating more flexibility say they could get more people into jobs if they had more freedom to get them there in the time allotted, generally two years from the start of receiving assistance. Utah, under Republican Gov. Gary Herbert, was one of five states to ask the federal government for more flexibility in determining work participation; the others were Republican-led Nevada and Democrat-governed California, Connecticut and Minnesota. "The expectation to participate fully in specific activities leading to employment is not the issue," Utah's director of workforce services wrote to the federal Department of Health and Human Services. "Full engagement is a powerful process that can lead to work. It is the narrow definitions of what counts and the burdensome documentation and verification processes that are not helpful."

Stop buying into the idea wealthy corporations are your enemy.

I suggest if you are doing poorly you take a look in the mirror first before looking elsewhere.

Actually, those on public assistance overwhelmingly vote Dem. It's how the Dems keep their voter base: keep as many people as possible dumbed-down (thus their unconscionable insistence on no vouchers), and therefore perpetually poor and continuously needing multiple forms of public assistance.

In addition, 48% of all US births each year are paid for by Medicaid (the welfare free health care program for the poor). 70% of those born into poverty never rise above poverty level, even as adults, even at any point in their lives.

I'll post other links, too, if anyone wishes.

Eventually... The left is going to run out of other people's money. Then what?

What corporate welfare programs? I've never seen any evidence that corporations receive Food Stamps, Section 8 Housing, TANF, Medicaid, etc., benefits transfers. Perhaps you can post some links citing such?

What about those of us who are middle class on up who still vote Dem, because we don't want anything to do with the religious right or the Repub's anti-poor agenda, and further want prohibition of marijuana to end and want universal healthcare?

Not all of the GOP is "religious right." I have NO idea why you would stereotype like that. Do you also think all Blacks are gangbanger thugs?

Also, GOP voters know that 80% of U.S. millionaires (net worth) are first-generation wealthy. If they can do it, so can anyone else.

You probably should understand the demographic with which you're specifically choosing to associate. Look at the following data, and understand that the bottom two demographic groups in each category have the highest percentage of Dem voters. They're your ideological peers:

Percent of 12th grade students of each race/ethnicity who are proficient or above, by race/ethnicity group:

Mathematics:

Overall: 26%

Asian/Pacific Islander: 47%
White: 33%
American Indian/Alaska Native: 12%
Hispanic: 12%
Black: 7%

Reading:

Overall: 38%

Asian/Pacific Islander: 47%
White: 47%
American Indian/Alaska Native: 26%
Hispanic: 23%
Black: 16%

Don't make me laugh...

Blacks, you know, those who overwhelmingly vote Dem, had the highest percentage of voting YES on California's Prop 8.
