Mueller was not orchestrating this raid.

The KBG is now called FSB.

Had this been an FSB action, Cohen would have been hauled out of a meeting with a bag over his head.

That's what happened to those accused of being American spies right after the intelligence community acceded to Trump's demands about the dossier sources.

Or else he would have been found dead in the trunk of his Lexus as one of the likely dossier sources was found.
Yes--
I think the connection between Trump demanding/requesting to have the SOURCES of the info that was used by the US Intelligence agencies and the Russians who wound up dead soon after really hasn't been explored or at least the public hasn't heard if there has been any investigation of whether that information made its way back to Russia/FSB via Trump or his remora clan...

I have this question as well.

I was taught to understand that in a republic no person is above the law.

Of course it's geographical--based on Cohen's location--but still---his group is getting fresh meat...

Because no one likes to have the curtain pulled back and the Wizard exposed for the fraud he is...

At first I thought it was just a fluke, or that you were trying to be funny, but it seems like you are really starting to get it. Yes, it reeks of KGB stuff, and Trump is finally being called out for all of his "KGB Stuff" actions.

Kudos to you for seeing the light!

To everyone else, I think it's fair game to poke a little fun. "Waaaaaah, they are picking on my Pwesident. WAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

As to the constant repetition that no crime was committed, there is a fair amount of evidence that this is a delusional defense.

For instance, Cohen paid Stormy $130K right before the election to keep her story under wraps under after the election. This is an illegal campaign contribution.

Who knows how much other evidence of crimes has been revealed by those interviewed by the Special Counsel team or by the Grand Juries?

Sooo If I understand this correctly, Trump had consensual sex with a porn star prostitute and later when he was running for office he paid her to keep quiet about it... I would wager that half of the politicians in DC have similar skeletons in their closets..
Is this the new hope of the Dems to get Trump out of office since the Russian thing isn't working?

What if RNC tainted money was used for say state race---
Would the state have right to prosecute that campaign finance law if there was evidence a state race was involved--not for Congress or Senate??

The issue here is the timing of her payoff. Campaign finance laws may have been broken.

Now I'm sure most supporters of Donald Trump would like to downplay the significance of a campaign finance law. But I'd bet that if former POTUS Obama were accused of breaking a campaign finance law by paying a porno star he had sex with to keep quiet two weeks before the election, those same people downplaying it for Trump would be marching on Washington and calling for Obama's impeachment.
