Lexington Virginia is just off of 81. 81 is becoming as popular as 95 for people traveling North and South. It will survive.

Maybe those employees have sincere beliefs that prevent them from serving a customer who very vocally supports policies that cause them harm. Remember that "sincere beliefs" excuse that prevented bakers from baking cakes? Turnabout and all that.

I think so too, the restaurant was already known for great farm to table dining, now it has a bit of liberal credibility.

Yep, really sucks that any of his staff, trying to have a peaceful dinner, got bullied and told to leave by an owner with convenient moral and decency standards. (Did you see the pic of the sign in the Red Hen window? The owner behaved exactly the opposite of the "virtue" she posts in her window.) #AnotherFraud

So, yeah, I agree that this never should have happened. No doubt about that.

Time will tell. There may be an initial bump in sales from people with twisted decency standards who visit out of morbid curiosity but longer term, I doubt it. I'd take that wager that she bites it in under 12 months.

Because prior to this nitwit, nobody was trashing the private sector via a channel they have either referred to or we know to be an official communications channel.

I beg to differ. Telling Americans "you didn't build that" is an attack on the private sector.

Respectful is not an adjective for Sarah, spoon feeding obvious lies to the media and Americans every single day is not a sign that you respect them. She had one job and she couldn't even do it as she has lost all credibility and morals.

Besides, the owner did her and her crew a favor by asking them to leave. The chef and kitchen staff could have put some pretty nasty things in their food to vent their frustration.

Can you prove that she is "spoon feeding obvious lies to the media and Americans"? Do you have proof of that? Where are you getting your information from that disputes hers?

The owners explanation to me sounds like she needs to post a note on the door to say who is welcome and who not.

How rude to ask for someone to leave based on owners own words.

The left has now lowered the bar.

I’m counting the days till this restaurant will be closed. I bet many others will be appalled by this handling and not just Republicans who will stay away.

This is not refusing to serve but an already served partybeing kicked out for ridiculous reasons.

Or people should eat there and leave zero tip for rude employees and owner.
Ugh! Anyone got a link to the Washington Compost article that doesn't require me to subscribe to their garbage news service?

Sorry, but no. There’s simply no excuse and no justification for the way she was treated. The restaurant owner and staff should “stand up for their beliefs” on their own personal time and not during work.
