You mean amnesty once again? No thanks! How would that stop all these caravans from Central America coming here anyway?

Did the tear gas do nothing? I'm asking because I'd read that they retreated, coughing and crying.

If that doesn't work, perhaps hoses and dogs.

After all other options have been exhausted, I have no problem with using guns....but not until other options have been tried and have failed.

Actually, it sounds like Mexico not having it's act together and knowing what they support or not. The source for the Saturday denial of a deal is the incoming interior secretary, who was also the source including quotes of the Saturday morning acceptance of the deal.

That is what I said. They were not offered asylum. Just bad jobs in a poverty stricken region.

Trump should step up ICE activities throughout the nation, increasing the number of illegal aliens arrested and deported, including the "pillars of the community" with 4 citizen kids and a small business. Make it clear that for every caravan alien that gets into the country, two additional Mexicans will be deported. When the illegal community here realizes these caravan aliens are *displacing* them, they too will start supporting a wall.

They were offered the opportunity to apply for asylum, which is really all anyone can and will do. Nobody is going to offer absolute guaranteed asylum with no qualifications or vetting.

The Mexican president, Enrique Peña Nieto, said that migrants wishing to obtain temporary identification documents, jobs or education for their children could do so by registering for asylum in southern Mexico.

“This plan is only for those who comply with Mexican laws, and it’s a first step towards a permanent solution for those who are granted refugee status in Mexico,” Peña Nieto said in a pre-recorded address broadcast on Friday.
