Trump has opened the door for other presidents to declare a national emergency even though none exists.

Someone should yell "Stop global warming with all that hot air coming out of your flapper!"

Maybe the rumors are true about Trump snorting Adderall LOL.

He's got adenoids. We used to know about that sort of thing back in the day. But the schools are so boogered up and dumbing down it's all about Adderall now.

Unlikely.

The current Supreme Court, where justified, believes in preserving executive discretion. This can be justified here because courts rely on precedent. The left cannot argue that this doesn't qualify as an emergency because there is a long list of prior emergencies that passed from several presidents without objection that you could argue are not emergencies at all, but that under the language of the law is permitted under Presidential discretion. The list of still active national emergencies include:

List of the 31 active national emergencies:
1. Blocking Iranian Government Property (Nov. 14, 1979)
2. Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (Nov. 14, 1994)
3. Prohibiting Transactions with Terrorists Who Threaten to Disrupt the Middle East Peace Process (Jan. 23, 1995)
4. Prohibiting Certain Transactions with Respect to the Development of Iranian Petroleum Resources (Mar. 15, 1995)
5. Blocking Assets and Prohibiting Transactions with Significant Narcotics Traffickers (Oct. 21, 1995)
6. Regulations of the Anchorage and Movement of Vessels with Respect to Cuba (Mar. 1, 1996)
7. Blocking Sudanese Government Property and Prohibiting Transactions with Sudan (Nov. 3, 1997)
8. Blocking Property of Persons Who Threaten International Stabilization Efforts in the Western Balkans (Jun. 26, 2001)
9. Continuation of Export Control Regulations (Aug. 17, 2001)
10. Declaration of National Emergency by Reason of Certain Terrorist Attacks (Sept. 14, 2001)
11. Blocking Property and Prohibiting Transactions with Persons who Commit, Threaten to Commit, or Support Terrorism (Sept. 23, 2001)
12. Blocking Property of Persons Undermining Democratic Processes or Institutions in Zimbabwe (Mar. 6, 2003)
13. Protecting the Development Fund for Iraq and Certain Other Property in Which Iraq has an Interest (May 22, 2003)
14. Blocking Property of Certain Persons and Prohibiting the Export of Certain Goods to Syria (May 11, 2004)

20. Blocking Property and Prohibiting Certain Transactions Related to Libya (Feb. 25, 2011)
21. Blocking Property of Transnational Criminal Organizations (Jul. 25, 2011)

31. Blocking Property of Certain Persons Contributing to the Situation in Nicaragua (Nov 27, 2018)

Emergency funding for a border wall is not in contradiction of any of these other existing items.

The Supreme Court will not rule against Trump on this, it will be built

LOL!!
As unhinged as the left is nothing would stop them from doing that anyway. At least Trump makes use of his opportunity and doesn't cave like the GOP usually does. They are a sad lot that won't do everything possible and in their power to provide security for the citizens of this country.
The reason the left hates Trump so mush is b/c he is successful and he can't be controlled by the monied interest and fearful politicians who depend on the donors.

Winning ?????? Your hero got his ass handed to him by Pelosi, and this weak attempt at trying to save his dwindling base is just that. He could give a rat's behind about National Security, he knows he has been unable to fulfill any of his campaign lies...…….healthcare, tariffs, Mexico paying for the wall, and now the wall itself...…...so he has to do something , anything, to LOOK like he is still in charge.

He can do all the talk he wants about evoking National Emergency, but he does not have the final say on that , it will be tied up so long in litigation that he will be in a wheelchair before it would ever happen.

Save your "Winning !" just in case he ever does accomplish something, so far, that ain't happened.

What we have are clear minds and the truth, while Trump has a muddled mind, is consistently dishonest, and has alternative facts, i.e. lies.

If you think there is anything 'deranged' about despising a terrible person and president, please look up deranged in the dictionary. And if you really believe over half the country is deranged, I am willing to make an objective list of all the reasons I detest Trump so that you may see logically why Trump is rather loathed.

He's not making heads explode. He's just motivating people. The rest of us mostly ignore him except when he tweets, because they are hilariously entertaining. In fact, he's making people laugh out loud quite often when he speaks, as he has no idea how phony and ignorant he sounds.

Walked by a muted tv today and chyron across the bottom stated "Trump Says We Are Being Invaded."

That is hilarious you have to admit. The Martians have landed.

Sorry you side with the invading illegals. Very telling. Fact is these parasitic invaders are costing taxpayers ~100 Billion a year. An estimated 10-30 million people who don't belong in our country IS an invasion.

This board is full of illegals and their supporters. Who cares what their opinion is? They don't stand for our country. They represent their own self interest which are not consistent with America . They are here to steal from us and bring down our great country from within.

Good luck with your TDS.

MAGA!!!
