As a last resort, buy from a grocery store.

You'll cut your food bill in half.

P.S. Costco has tons of other stuff like clothes, housewares etc. so you can recoup your membership fee outside of just groceries, but again, if not...aldis...aldis...aldis...
Hey, I'm already a member and my bottomless pits are grown and gone so I'm thrilled with my food bill....lol.

I'm very healthy in my eating habits - no fast food and I limit simple carbs.

But I do get that people who are struggling are in a different situation and that's all I'm trying to get across.

That's not what this woman's problem is, but for some folks I can see where it might be.

I really have a hard time believing this. Nobody would believe that racism causes people to eat too much and gain weight.

That is probably because you are looking for a DIRECT causation and not an INDIRECT causation. You are thinking too superficially. That having been said, many of you don't even believe that racism has anything to do with the socioeconomic racial inequality that exists for blacks in this society today. Of course if you can't see the accrued impact of over 300 years of racism on the black community today....you surely are not going to be able to see how racism may influence obesity in the black community.

The Boss is giving his employee a hard time. The negative energy and stress created from that results in the employee giving his wife a hard time. The tension and negative energy from that leads to the wife yelling at the kid more. The kid feeling less loved acts out and behaves negatively at school. It might seem absurd to blame the behavior of the manager at a company on the bad behavior of a kid at school......but via the butterfly effect.....it can be true.

Black women also have high rates of mental health problems. I don't think equality works anymore. It's just best not to scream, yell or think negatively of black women period. People Handle stress differently. For some they run to the fridge for relief, while others run to the liquor cabinet, while others do drugs, and for some watch porn. Blaming trump for black women obesity. Lol. Black women high had obesity prior to Trump being elected. I can guarantee that Vox and Vice News will do an article or youtube video on how Trump election are making black women obese.

I can say that the AA community mainly those in poverty do not have the same access of healthy food, gyms, and healthcare compared to those who are average at best or those in the upper class strata. However simple health changes like 30 minutes of exercise, portion control and practicing a form of diet can improve vitality of ones own health.

I know racism is a big issue in America, and those that be want to solve race issue, however obesity affects all people. Simple healthy changes starts with the individual, and not because of Trump and White Supremacy forcing you to eat unhealthy foods.

I have to wonder-do Social Justice Warriors have any idea just how stupid, childish and petulant they sound to sane people?

Wanna know why Americans in general are obese? Turn on the Food Network sometime. I always see it on at the gym, and NOT ONCE have I seen a dish made on there that wasn't OBSCENELY unhealthy. Not once.

Anyone eating lots of animal products is eating downright lavishly compared to most of the world, and animal products are subsidized by the US federal government, and hence artificially cheap.

I did not listen to the video. Did she blame it on Trump, because the title says she blamed it on white supremacy, which existed long before Trump and will exist after Trump.

Kind of like Cons and Repubs try to take credit for America progressing to the point of having had a black President. Talk about racism in America and Cons will love to tell you how America had a black President....and by implication, not racist. Yeah....thanks for all your help in achieving that first. NOT!
