Theories are never "proven", they're merely supported by the evidence. When teaching science, that is in fact what counts as correct.

LOL, yes it has, many times over.

It's as proven as the heliocentric theory of the solar system.

It is literally taught as the THEORY of Evolution.

All science is essentially THEORY.

Creationism belongs in comparative religion classes or literature classes. Not science class.

It can be proved true or proved wrong, observations indicate it's true. You can never prove or disprove a belief.

Creationists ALWAYS say that "evolution is just a theory" without taking into account what theory means in a scientific context. It's not the same as the word is used in everyday conversation. Gravity is also a theory in the scientific context.

No wonder Republicans deem their supporters as being nothing more than useful idiots.

I am going to split this particular hair: It can not be proved true. Certainly, any valid scientific theory can be proved wrong - falsification criteria is part of any sound theory - but there's no way to prove it true.

What observations? A bird's beak? That doesn't prove that a species "evolved" into another species. The birds weren't cats before, they've always been birds.

Please point out where we have seen one species turn into another species?

For those who keep blabbering on about how science works, they should understand the simple fact that it must be observable AND repeatable.

Therefore, God's days are each 2.3 billion years long. Problem solved.

you forgot the verse that says "a day in the life of the lord is a thousand years, and a thousand years in a day". however my opinion is the bible tells use what god did, and science is working to tell us HOW he did it.

as for the young earthers, the bible fails to tell us WHEN god did the things he did. science though gives us an idea. what we dont know is truly how long it took god to set things into motion. for instance it might just have taken him six 24 hour days to set the big bang into motion, and then he took a well deserved day to rest.
