Is this garbage for real?

The purpose of the curriculum is to teach a state approved course which includes the main stream belief of evolution nowhere does it require the student to believe it as the absolute answer. These kids have been fed a single minded faith view with the caveat that this is what they must believe, are they afraid that answering a test question based on the material they were taught in class will shatter their views?

And they're teaching kids that boys can be girls and girls can be boys, too.

Maybe you should check out a course on gender identity and what science actually has to say about it.

OK when exactly has this happened?

This is actually a very big deal to evangelical Christians. Answering the tests correctly would be considered "endorsing evolution" and there for an act of disbelief in the eyes of God.

I know a boy has a penis and a girl has a vagina. That's it. Biology. Very simple.

Yes, that's a very simple understanding of the issue...

Life isn't that simple.

Now, in reality....beyond some small number of idiot fundamentalists that probably aren't shooting people on the weekend as they gather in bible study. (Yes they are annoying)

I guess you might want to consider the whole education system in ohio and the scope of things eh?

It's hard to believe that we once put a man on the moon and today we have become such an anti-science culture. If we're going to insist as a society that the Bible is a science textbook, that the earth is 6000 years old, that Noah's Ark really happened, and that the Book of Revelation is the explanation for climate change, then I believe this country's best days really are behind it.
This is going too far. I am all for religious belief and fervor. But at home and in church or mosque; not at school.

People are welcome to worship as they choose but if their narrow minded views don't allow exposure to views other than their own they can home school or attend faith based school. They must be pretty insecure if they fear their children being given an opposing view point...
