That sure clears things up. Thanks, Donald.
All those witnesses, ambassadors, career state officials, their staff, military officers, cabinet officers, and national security staff all were working their tails off to get a "deliverable" for Trump so that the meeting and the military aid would be released. BUT, they were all acting on their own or under the direction of Rudy Giuliani who misunderstood Trump's wishes. Hogwash! Two things are clear about Trump. One is that with him he is the boss. It's his way or the highway. Two is that he is a seasoned mobster who knows how to give directions so that the blame never comes back on him.

Safe to say we are way past the WB at this point.

Can't help but wonder why the Republicans don't send in a replacement for Nunes.

You only know what Rudy " instructed " by what you are being told. Rudy hasn't been asked. You have no knowledge of anything Trump may have said to Rudy.None. Zero. Either does Sondland unless he heard it directly from Trump.

I believe Sondland said it was a " guess". So POTUS should be Impeached about a guess?

Trump DID NOT ask for an Investigation. The exact words were " look into " .
The least you can do is quote it correctly.
I keep saying.
The Aid was given.
There wasn't any investigation.
Not one witness can say that Trump directly told them to participate in a bribe or any other criminal activity.
The " victim" in this situation says he wasn't a victim.
Rudy has been asked along with Mulvaney but they've declined to respond to a subpoena. That said, the American public at this particular point in time has a fair idea about what Rudy Giuliani was alleging and Trump's take on it.

How? Because Rudy Giuliani appeared on numerous talk shows spouting various conspiracy theories, sometimes contradicting himself in the space of minutes. And then he completely mischaracterized so-called 'evidence.'

Trump then repeated the Giuliani allegations in tweets etc. And Mulvaney managed to admit in a press conference that military aid was being conditioned on the investigations.

The WH is preventing full testimony about what appears to be clear bribery. Why clear? Sondland came to hold the "presumption" that military aid was involved. Sondland was the point man for the Ukraine negotiations, not some odd man on the street.

So let's find out.

This ^^^. Even Lutsenko has publicly described how he played Rudy Giuliani.

Why would the "whistleblower" or anyone else tip off Trump on this farce? That makes no sense.

"Notified of" would entail finding out, if nothing else, the gist of what it contains.
Read the quote. It describes exactly the steps taken with the report.

I know you're pinning your hopes on this impeachment farce, but you all are being utterly ridiculous.

Either Trump was a clueless Mr. Magoo, duped by the far more sophisticate Giuliani.

Or he was the "mastermind" of this bribery and extortion scam.

Either way, Republicans would be wise to cut their losses here.

About time.

Gordon Sondland delivers the 'John Dean' moment

The John Dean moment in this impeachment inquiry has arrived -- President Donald Trump's abuse of power has been confirmed by a witness with direct involvement in the scheme.

You snipped the rest of the post.

The Dimpeachers will have to make a compelling case to the American people that President Zelensky, the alleged victim, is lying about not feeling bribed or extorted. Or they could argue he's too dumb to recognize when he's being bribed or extorted. Or both.

Not pinning any hopes anywhere.....but can't help but think that to have a huge supporter of Trump's who was 'paid off' for his support turned on Trump. You have to ask why?

And why is The White House refusing to allow so much information that would answer some of the questions being asked ...by Republicans.

Republican politicians whined about Dems not being transparent.

Come on now -- White House is interfering with the information transfer and they say nothing.

I'm not an impeachment supporter. But none of this is good. All of this speaks to Trump's incompetence, personal agenda, etc.

This is the swamp behind the curtains. Trump said he was going to drain the swamp --- what he meant was he was going to bring it mainstream so then Washington DC would get even swampier.

Trump directly told Sondland he wanted nothing from the Ukraine before the allegations in the "whistleblower's" report were known.
Since you won't click on a link and read it I'll copy it here for you.

Quote:
Sept. 9 — Atkinson, the inspector general of the intelligence community, notifies the House intelligence committee that he received a whistleblower’s complaint relating to an “urgent concern” on Aug. 12. He says he found the information credible, and sent “my determination of a credible urgent concern” along with a copy of the complaint to Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire, who had seven days to forward the complaint to Congress. But, contrary to “past practice,” Maguire did not forward the complaint to Congress, believing “the allegations do not meet the definition of an ‘urgent concern’ under the [whistleblower] statute,” Atkinson writes. The inspector general says he will keep the committee apprised of his attempts to resolve the issue.

Three House committees announce investigations into whether Trump and Giuliani tried to pressure Ukraine into conducting “politically-motivated investigations under the guise of anti-corruption activity.”
https://www.factcheck.org/2019/09/th...aint-timeline/

So they not only got the complaint, they announced an investigation on the same day that Trump was in a "bad mood" and told Sondland "no quid pro quo"

Hmmm
Yeah, it's possible Macho Man Randy Savage could come charging out of the dressing room and go flying off the top ropes onto whoever is already in the ring.

That's all this is is WWE politics for partisan idiots and tipsy boomer wine-moms.
