No they aren't. The gunman was shot at by two parishioners, at least one of whom hit and killed the gunman, and neither of those people were killed.

The church members who shot were part of security detail and eliminated the problem within 6 seconds.

Impressive!

I mean, damn. Its sickening. Note a second parishioner has died, but I see nothing to support that he had a gun also.

So you were HOPING innocent, law abiding citizens protecting the others would DIE just because they legally carry a gun and used them in self defense? That is sick and disgusting.
Sorry to break it to you.

3 killed, including gunman, in Texas church shooting during live-streamed service

Here's what I know about him:

He entered a place of worship intending to kill people.

He pulled a rifle out and shot two people and aimed at the pastor but was shot by a parishioner (or perhaps two - two did shoot at him) and he was killed himself.

Based on the facts that he had more ammunition and was actively aiming his gun at someone when he was shot, I believe he intended to kill more people. Thankfully, legally armed US citizens stopped him from doing so. And just a note: They didn't shoot anyone else and their guns didn't jump out of their hands and start committing crimes.

Do you know anything else?
