Iran of course needs to be taken out for their involvment in 9/11. Remember the 5 dancing Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corp members who were caught filming it all on top of a parking garage in New Jersey!

Exclamation Update: USAF B-52 Stratofortress Bombers to Diego Garcia

Yesterday, the U.S. Air Force sent six B-52 Stratofortress bombers to Diego Garcia, an atoll in the middle of the Indian Ocean used by the US to launch bomber missions to the Middle East and Asia.

Stars and Stripes: Six B-52 Bombers Heading to Indian Ocean Amid Iran Tensions

Military.com: Air Force Sends B-52 Bombers to Diego Garcia Amid Middle East Buildup

The U.S. Air Force recently installed the new Heavy Release Capability (HRC) pylons onto the the B-52H bombers. These HD pylons would allow the BUFFs to carry multiple 20,000-pound class weapons - that means any bomb or missile the service currently has in inventory, and could be a prelude to integrating new weapons, such as air-launched hypersonic cruise missiles, onto the bombers in the future.

Hopefully Iran will not escalate the tensions following the US hit on their Top Terrorist, and instead come back to the table to negotiate a solution to their nuclear weapons ambitions. The US now has the upper hand, and is playing with an advantage.

But if Iran isn't open to diplomacy, and decides to use military force, it will give President Trump the justification to also use military force, another Shock & Awe. And this time it will be decisive with technology and weapons unheard of the last time. My guess is that once the USAF has established air superiority and neutralized Iran's air defenses, the BUFFS could then lumber in and use these truly awesome weapons to penetrate and destroy Iran's fortified underground nuclear industry.

Exclamation Iran's Three Days of Mourning Are Up

Well the three days of mourning (read three days of planning) for Iran’s Top Terrorist is up. So that pretty much means that tomorrow should be Iran’s D-Day.

I’m sure our satellites, spy planes and drones have every Iranian military asset under observation. We will know when, and where, they are moving if Iran is preparing for a military assault.

Hopefully the Ayatollah is a Paper Tiger and negotiates with President Trump. Otherwise, if he takes military action- all Gloves are Off!

I agree with you, but 'We are where we are' (sorry - I hate it too), so what do we do from here?

IMO:

1. with regard to Iraq - the move by Iran's Parliament to kick us out, we now have an 'OUT' to get out of this FN quagmire without having to make excuses to our 'allies' in the Middle East why we are no longer willing to allow our troops to be a buffer between them and their religious extremists in Iran. Iraq is nothing more than an extension of Iran from now on! Let them sort it out!

2. with regard to Iran: hopefully Iran will not escalate the tensions following the US hit on their Top Terrorist, and instead come back to the table to negotiate a solution to their nuclear weapons efforts. The US now has the upper hand, and is playing with an advantage. But if Iran isn't open to diplomacy, and decides to use military force, it will give President Trump the justification to also use military force, and take care of the nuclear issue with bombs.

This will also have an impact with our same issue with North Korea, and Lil Rocket Man IS watching!

Exclamation Update: Iran Launches Ballistic Missile Attack on US Bases in Iraq

Iran has 'taken credit' for launching fifteen ballistic missiles against two US bases in Iraq as revenge for last week's US drone strike that killed Iran's Top Terrorist, Qassem Soleimani.

Al Asad Airbase is the second largest US military airbase in Iraq. (33° 48′ 0″ N, 42° 26′ 0″ E). It is the same airbase that President Donald Trump and his wife Melania visited the soldiers stationed there on December 26, 2018, and by Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen just ahead of Thanksgiving in 2019. The other base was Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan.

Thankfully there were no US casualties, but there were reports of Iraqi casualties at the Al Asad airbase.

I find it highly suspect that Iran took credit for such a limited and low-level attack knowing full well that President Trump has drawn a Red Line, but maybe it is the Ayatollah's way of saving face with his furious populace. Right now the ball is in our court, and we currently have the advantage. This MAY bring enough pressure on the Ayatollah and bring him back to the negotiating table where things MAY be resolved diplomatically, especially the nuclear issue.

Hopefully since there were no American casualties President Trump will show restraint and NOT launch Shock & Awe tonight! Instead I hope that President Trump gives the Ayatollah one one chance tomorrow to come to the table and talk. However, if the Ayatollah is recalcitrant, I expect President Trump to have our military respond appropriately at the time of our choosing!

The greatest victory is the one where you don't have to take the battlefield - Sun Sui

But... can we ever really trust Iran in any long-term agreement?

Lightbulb Trump’s End Game Plan for the Middle East

"When you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there."

OK, so Iran has made its first move in response to tRump's provocation.

Will they take further action? They say they won't if the US doesn't escalate.

So, now the ball is back in tRump's court.

Is he wise enough to call it quits at this point?

That's very uncertain.
