Fauci told reporters during a White House briefing that more cases of the disease caused by the novel coronavirus have begun to appear in the southern hemisphere, which is transitioning into colder seasons.

If there is an outbreak in the southern hemisphere, Fauci said "it will be inevitable" that the disease will make a comeback even if it is temporarily stopped.

Well isn't that special.

the idea of "bat-$hit crazy" when it's rumored to have been a live bat that caused all of this is too symetrical

That and blame Cuomo for New York. I do agree deBlasio did make mistakes, but Cuomo hasn't other than not being proactive. The entire US had the issue, so it isn't exclusive to Cuomo and others, namely Democrats.

A member of the crew can transport the virus to another island which is a cold zone at the moment.

With army and police checkpoints long ago in place to counter communist and Muslim rebel forces when they shifted to checking for possibly symptoms of infection Filipino society was already conditioned to accept such government tactics

When it comes to mass transit, “simply shut it down” is a simplistic but poorly thought-through answer in a situation like this.
No, this is a good example of making excuses as to why it is not possible to stop people from passing the virus. Essential services, if they are really essential and not simply the local gun shop owner who claims his service is essential, have plans for their employees.

Refusing to shut things down is creating the problem.

Viruses are dead. They become active in live hosts, us! We need Superman antibodies to unplug the virus from our inners. Sometimes they stay in and go dormant, why they can return. We have to become stronger - the viruses are.

No escaping this virus. Everyone is going to get infected. Either you make it, or you don’t. It’s sad, but nature has to run it’s course.

You can go ahead and think through the ripple effects of shutting down mass transit if you disagree. Currently, you’ve proposed forcing nurses and hospital custodians to involuntarily sleep in a (unidentifiable) hotel without a source of food or anyone to deal with their accommodations. What else do you propose?

This type of short-termist, one-dimensional thinking is Exhibit “A” that most posters on this cesspool of a forum are keyboard commandos and totally incapable of running anything more than water into a sink.
