And, oddly, the "right" didn't even notice. Crazy how that works.
It literally took this article for the "fake outrage" and "I'm not watching Mark Cuban, the Maverics, NBA" quotes to start.
We can't be aware of everything as it happens. But once it's reported, are we not permitted to express dismay that playing the National Anthem is now seen as polarizing?
It's a sad day in America when playing our anthem offends the radical left. It's all part of driving hatred toward America.
We all can only speculate the reason: Maybe he thinks a basketball game is not a place for anything that's polarizing?
How is the NA polarizing? Slavery was accepted around the world for thousands of years. It was wrong, but just how it was. Whether they admit it or not, it was largely white people who put an end to slavery in the US. Part of the discussion was around the constitution and what it meant to be an American. America eventually realized everyone should be treated the same and afforded the same freedom under the flag. America is a country to celebrate (until the progressives ruin it)!

It's a sad day in America when NOT playing the national anthem at a frickin' sporting event offends the radical right. It's all part of the radical right trolling the internet for any sliver of "not the way I see the world" they can use to express faux outrage.
Why aren't you outraged that the national anthem isn't played at the start of every single city council meeting throughout the country?
Why aren't you outraged that they don't play the national anthem before your kid's soccer game on Saturday mornings?
Why aren't you outraged that they don't play the national anthem before you board a plane?

Oh geez. What a weird argument. Logic is not your strong suit.
It's not that they don't play it everywhere. It's that it was a nice, traditional, patriotic, and unifying way to kick off a sporting event. And now it's stopped because leftists find it offensive.
It’s because it honors America, and thus offends the radical left.
What BS and an insult to your fellow citizens.
That National Anthem, presentation of colors by uniformed military at professional sporting events is a recruiting tool for the USA Armed services.
How does the playing of a recorded National Anthem promote the love of country by ordinary citizens?
Wouldn't the whole audience singing it in unison be more unifying?
IIRC, my local professional baseball team was paid by the army to do those opening ceremonies.
While you may not agree with the radical left, those American citizens have as much right to an opinion as you. Theirs is every bit as valid as yours.
