I spoke to a woman several years ago who frequently takes vacations in Jamaica. So far, she likes going there. She doesn't go to Kingston though. From what she mentioned about Jamaica's murder issues, there is only one homicide unit for the whole country. I can't confirm this, because it's hard to find data. However, if this is true, then it's no surprise that Jamaica's homicide rate is so high.

This is true for gang members in the USA, Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, all over. Gangs will use illegal means to get any kind of weapon.

As well as here in the US. If we lose that battle before they really take in and multiply, we are done.

It doesn't seem like it here in the U.S. Maybe I'm not in the right places.

sad thing is, STL is on pace for 305 murders this year with just about 285,000 people.

St. Louis has been left to rot. It has been a rough city for quite some time, but it has really taken some bad turns from the late 1950s to now.

The proper liberal term is “gun violence” because the guns go around on their own shooting people. Everything is good with our culture. Time to move on.

Irvine, California, which has 280,000 people, has had 1.

As others have pointed out, to ignore demographics makes the whole argument here absurd.
