Only certain areas. There is plenty of areas in America that are not plagued with these issues.

I'll bring up a point. Jamaica. Since the 1960s, Jamaica has made it harder and harder for the average person to get a gun. Gun ownership is low in Jamaica. And yet, it has one of the highest murder rates in North America. Alot of gangs in Jamaica.

Thanks for sharing that point. Some people just don't get it.

The neighborhood I live in, no murders taking place.

Now, Memphis and Baltimore have high homicide rates. Towson, MD, much safer. Olive Branch, MS, much safer.

Good grief!
Not to mention that disliking something the OP does and the OP being against the TOS are two different matters, and that that poster you’re replying to isn’t a mod.

Same here. On the crime index which 100 is safest, my area scores an 82. I had to do some digging to find if there has been any murders here. The last one and only one that popped up on the Google was from 2007, a husband killed his wife.

Crazy thing too, we have two outdoor gun range/clubs and a firearms store. So firearms are around here for sure.

Kingston, the capital of Jamaica, is more murderous than Memphis or St. Louis. It's about mentality. People who want to kill will find a way.

Exactly. And this is what we should be focusing on. Not rifles that are black, pistol braces, and magazines.

I'm not saying it's bad or good that it's so easy to obtain a firearm here, but the ease contributes to our homicide rate.

It's up to the individual as to whether they think it's bad, good, or indifferent.
The gang members who are doing all the killing aren't buying guns in stores.
