And why doesn't our politicians address the root causes of these issues ? Instead they deflect and focus on things that won't stop the problems, and the easily lead buy into it.

The violence problems we've had in America go back decades upon decades, back to 1900. The root problems go back ages and ages. This is how I see it. Alot of politicians aren't equipped to deal with it. Putting a band-aid on the problem is the easiest thing to do.

But the 2017 census estimates for Vermont show it's population to be 94% Caucasians. Memphis on the other hand has a Caucasian population of under 30%, according to 2021 data estimates. So clearly the southern Caucasians are over achieving, while the northern whites are certainly slackers.

Despite these 2 outlier examples, I'm glad the president was bold enough to identify the true problem facing the nation. Because the first step in solving the problem is identifying it.
Joe Biden was telling us what our intelligence agencies have told him. Vermont is one of the 5 most educated states we have. That`s not a breeding ground for white nationalists, Qanuts, and tiki torch carrying inbreds.

The FBI warned us about these people in 2006.

While I agree that the root causes of our violence issues have gone back decade after decade, the majority of our country has seen violence reducing...with the exception of certain pockets. Why is the rest of the country progressing, except for certain areas ? And some of these areas the violence is going up.

All democrat run cities where the majority of murders are committed by black people against other black people. The people that will turn this into an argument against guns ignore the problems within black ghettos that cause these problems.

Some areas, like Memphis, have always been this way. I've had to familiarize myself with the history of Memphis. I've also read a few pieces written by Thomas Sowell. Today, the inner cities have either been allowed to rot, or people use gentrification to move people OUT of those areas. Gangs, out of wedlock birth rates, broken homes, etc. You can't make someone not join a gang. You can't make someone control their loins (and cutting off welfare won't adequately solve that problem). Some problems can be solved with rigorous enforcement of the laws. Others, such as a person's mentality, the culture of violence, won't just go away with laws.

They are just killing other democrats and liberals, so I'm okay with that.

Libs deserve what they voted for.

This is a problem in Republican cities as well. Fort Worth just went over 100 murders for the first time since the 1990s. Republican mayor. Black on Black violence has increased. Same goes for Jacksonville, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa. Wherever there are Black people living in the ghettos, there are going to be many issues with Black on Black murder. It's been going on for over a century. No one cared in the past as long as it was only the Black section of town and Blacks stayed there.

It's up to the individual as to whether they think it's bad, good, or indifferent.
You know this is not true. You absolutely know this. All of the US cities that make it as difficult as possible to legally buy a gun are also very high crime.
