Yup, that's how Socialists like FirebirdCamaro1220 are. All emotion, no logic, and class envy.

do you really think that taxing someone at 50% of their income is really fair???.... is it only "FAIR" to the rich???? why discriminate...tax EVERYONE at the same rate...and why tax income...taxing spending would be the fairest of ways of raising revenue

If I remember correctly...you are a truck driver..... probably making 1500 a week (78k/yr)..... how would you feel if the government said that anything over 50k is rich, and the rich should pay 90%...would you really like to see 1/3 of your gross taxed at 90%???? would you really like to see the government say you earned 78k, which is 28k over the 50k..so your tax bill is 25.2k.... do you have 25.2k just laying around to pay the overtaxation???

Well we know which one you are. The moron who thinks a burger flipper at Mc Donald's should make enough income for a 4 bedroom house in the suburbs, complete with a garage, a white picket fence, and a nice backyard for the kids.

Quite an awfully long-winded way to say you have zero concept of how running a business works, which is why you can't even fathom what the proper starting wage would be.

No, that's hyperbole added by you; but enough for their own studio apartment with no roommates shouldn't be too much to ask

and they NEVER HAVE...ever when the top rate was 90%.... but

the fact is that the fascist liberals continue with their rhetoric about tax the rich.. the rich should pay their fair share.. tax the rich even more

in the 50's when the top bracket was 90% the rates was anything over 380k...today it is just over 500k.... but if you took 380k in the 50's to todays dollars it would be 3.5m+.... why have the brackets not changed with inflation??

again do you really think its fair for a person making 1m... to have to pay 39.5% on 450k...and also the 13.3% (CA) on it in …;. so 177.7k to the feds (just the top bracket amount, I did not include the other brackets of the 550k income that is coverd by them) and 59,850 to the state … so just for the top bracket..not counting the lower bracket costs... $237k

how would you feel is the feds said...nah..rich is anything over 50k....

It's called deflection. Congress cannot live within their budget and it's rich people's fault ?

example: we have SEVEN fully funded, fully staffed milk programs. Why ? We only need ONE...milk for everyone. See how much money that alone would save ?
Those programs are loved by the rich, because they make a ton of money off of them.

Everyone says "cut spending". What do you think ought to be cut? Can we start with the military? We could cut $300 billion out of that budget and never notice.
