We're talking about taxation for people at that level. Imagine the benefit to the economy if everyone currently crushed under medical debt could suddenly start spending and investing that money.

Why, because he's rich? Is there some sort of unwritten law stating anyone who becomes successful in life and becomes wealthy from said success, is now responsible to solve all of the world's problems? It's not Elon Musk's job to be a superhero for the world, nor is it any other billionaire's responsibility to.

Not to mention these billionaires you're so bitter about already give back to the world in many ways. I'll never understand people like you who think the rich can solve all of our problems by writing checks. Why don't you become rich yourself? No one is stopping you. Then you can donate as much money as you'd like!

Thats funny, there's multiple workers at the Dunkin near my apartment that rent their own place with no room mates. Wonder how they managed that since according to you it's impossible. If you can't afford a studio apartment with your income, the problem isn't the job. The problem is you. Find a better paying job.

This is a canard, as yes, everyone has the possibility, but just from the reality of the labor market, it's not going to actually happen for the vast majority

What the hell is wrong with you? Did it ever occur to you that some people are renting because they would either not own a home, or they might be saving up to purchase a home and renting is a temporary solution? Two of my friends and my boss and his fiance were apartment renters for this exact reason, and they're all homeowners now. My Lord, please seek therapy. Every one of your arguments is nothing but built-up hatred for others who are clearly doing better than you. You seem to be harboring a lot of anger and jealousy towards people who worked hard and are successful because of it. Jealousy is an ugly trait.
Nothing is wrong with me. Most people rent because they can't afford to buy (or qualify for a mortgage)

And sitting on your ass blaming Elon Musk for making self driving cars isn't doing much for your case either.

And like I said in that comment (love how you conviently left it out), some people prefer to rent over owning a home. Some also rent whole saving up to purchase a home. Why are you choosing to ignore that?
