Look between your legs and see what you got going on down there. If you're smart, you'll know it's not female or a woman. Jackson should have thought of something smarter to say in answer to that question. But unlike me, she has lived her entire life as a black person. If a black senator posed the same question, maybe she would have answered it differently.
Can anyone explain why a judge being questioned for placement on the Supreme Court is being asked her opinion about children's literature meant for 4-7 year old kids? I'm seriously not seeing the connection. Is that relevant to adjudicating cases judged by the SC? Why not ask her for her opinion about Sesame Street? Dora The Explorer?
Then why was she questioned about CRT? Have they ever asked a white SC nominee that question?
Simple. Because it isn't about race. It's about her very disturbing history of light sentencing for pedophiles. I could give a flying crap about her melanin level, it's her morals level that I find alarming.
We are born with different body parts and chromosomes that define the gender of our bodies. But that is our body. Our minds control our body and our minds decide who we are not our body parts. Many believe they were born in the wrong body. They are not mentally ill like some accuse them of. Asking the definition of a women was all about transgenders. So why not just ask that question.

Some day people may be able to set aside their biases and not think that minorities and women up for a supreme court nomination are weaker and thus need softer treatment than prior nominees.
Someday people may be able to live in a world where others do not harbor biases against women and people of color.
Someday people may be able to live in a world where a super-qualified, charming, humble and brilliant Black woman--- whose qualifications match or exceed those of every justice now sitting on the court---will not be subjected to a line of questioning that has nothing to do with her qualifications for sitting on the Supreme Court, but everything to do with ignorant, biased fear of the integration of the Supreme Court of the United States.
Someday people may be able to have a renewed respect for the solemn Senate process and senatorial duty of advise and consent---that is achieved by respectful and fair confirmation hearings determining a nominees’ character & fitness for office, and their legal acumen and approach to judging--- and not be subjected to disrespectful & deceitful fear mongering, partisan point-scoring & presidential campaign-launching by dishonest and indecent pandering to those in this nation who do indeed harbor racial and misogynistic biases.
Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson was clearly treated differently, and softer is not the request or complaint; but fair and equal treatment certainly should be expected and it was not afforded by any measure. Someday people may be able to anticipate that, even though most of us knew it would not be this week.
The great news for "someday", folks: This eminently qualified candidate, with steely endurance, unaffected grace and superior intellect & composure, stood up to the intimidation and bullying of those far weaker than she ---and who, here in 2022 America, cannot set aside their ignorant and deleterious biases. Despite all the bogus claims, frenzied falsehoods and overt racial baiting and dog whistling, the next associate justice of the Supreme Court will be the honorable Ketanji Brown Jacskon and America's "someday" will be the better for it.

Wait a minute. We are told having junk or having a vagina has absolutely nothing to do with being a man or a woman.
