well, they certainly could have waited to see if Disney actually did anything post-signing to sue/fund a suit to overturn.

don't forget, Disney tried to give an LGBTQ org $5MM in early March and were rebuffed in a snit

Being "woke" is nothing more than being aware. Conservatives want to turn awareness into evil. They have turned "woke" into a slur. Conservatives are afraid of intelligent awareness. They depend on creating fear in the ignorant. Fear of blacks, fear of gays, fear of election fraud. That want to create enemies that don't exist. Mean while, they focus on gerrymandering and stacking the courts. The justice system is the one thing conservatives fear and the one thing that can stop their autocratic aspirations.

Why are you ok with an elected official having this spiteful retribution on a state approved agency that for all purposes appears to have been well run and beneficial to not only the company but the communities that they are located in and paying taxes too?

I'm not commenting on the narrative of the bill but you seem to think that a business who has been in the state since the 60's has no right to voice an opinion. Freedom of Speech works both ways and the Governor like other elected officials we have seen needs to grow a thicker skin...

OK.....let's try and remove your feelings from the equation. Have you actually read the bill? Because I have, to the point where I keep a PDF copy on my phone because I'm so sick of people like you who think it's OK for a business to fight against a bill going into law, by pushing a false narrative. Which brings me to my next point: I never said I had an issue with businesses having the right to voice their opinion.

HAVING SAID THAT.......there was NOTHING in that bill that said it was aimed to make sure no one said the word gay. The words "don't say gay" aren't in the bill, PERIOD. This bill was designed to CONTINUE to make sure children ages 3 - 8 don't learn any kind of sexual indoctrination many woke teachers want to implement in the classroom. This means learning about sex and masturbation, all of the fake genders the left created, transgenderism, homosexuality, etc. That's it. And for good reason: THEY'RE KIDS!!! Let kids be kids for God's sake. I didn't have sex ed as a class until I was in 7th grade. That's when kids should be learning about this stuff, minus the fake genders that don't exist.

You keep crying "businesses have a say!" but do you even know how it went down? Bob Iger, who stepped down as Disney's CEO, fanned the flames by saying companies in Florida should stand up and do more. Yeah....Mr Iger all the way out in Cali felt Disney should step up. Bob Chapek (current CEO) wanted no part of this, and even issues a statement saying that there's just some things in politics companies should stay out of, and said Disney's job is to stick to entertainment, not weighing in on political topics. Aaaaaaaaaaaand then all the woke LBGTQ+ employees at Disney foamed at the mouth and clawed their eyes out, as they screamed to the heavens. Next thing you know, Chapek live streams an apology to them, and decides to step into the political boxing ring, by basically saying they have a right to have a say in the homes of families across the US, and would lobby the bill.

So again, they played a stupid game, and they won a stupid prize. As I said before, this is what happens when a business wants to dabble in politics and stick their nose where it doesn't belong. Having an opinion is one thing. Going to lobby a bill with a false narrative is another. And Disney just learned what happens when you do that. Doesn't matter how many years they've been in Florida. They're not gods.

I also find it funny how Liberals like you demand these companies pay more in taxes and stop with the special treatment. Well, here it is! And yet you're complaining. Typical Liberals, you guys never cease to amaze me with your hypocrisy.
