Ukrainian forces conducted counteroffensive operations on at least two sectors of the front and advanced near Robotyne. Geolocated footage published on August 19 and 20 shows that Ukrainian forces recently advanced east of Robotyne. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces conducted counteroffensive operations in the Melitopol (western Zaporizhia Oblast) and Berdyansk directions (western Donetsk-eastern Zaporizhia Oblast area). A Russian milblogger claimed that Russian forces continue to face issues with counterbattery capabilities on all sectors of the front, but particularly in the Zaporizhia direction. The milblogger also claimed that Russian units are facing officer shortages due to manpower losses and that privates command some Russian companies, which should have a junior officer in command.
Look at these barbarians! That’s why Russia will be going down in this war, even if a long, protracted war.
Tens of thousands of "laughing" reactions appeared on Russian social-media posts about the memorial of a Ukrainian child who was killed in a Russian air strike over the weekend.
Six-year-old Sophia was among seven people killed and 144 injured in the strike on Chernihiv, northern Ukraine, per officials.

That's just terrible, but it's the Russians we are talking about. They openly talk about exterminating all Ukrainians. They even talk about killing Americans.
To celebrate Ukrainian's 32nd Independence Day (Independent from Moscow) they have lined up burned out hulks of Russian tanks and armored vehicles along the parade route. The Ukrainian death toll is a state secret, but U.S. officials cited by the New York Times last week put the number of soldiers killed during the war at almost 70,000, with between 100,000 and 120,000 wounded.

Just kind of an after-thought: What's with this 30 year cycle we keep seeing? The British left in 1783 and we thought that was the last of them. Then here they come back in 1812 and even burn Washington in 1814. That's 30 years +-.
The USSR falls apart in '91, and here they come back, 30 years later.
This will probably be the last time the Russians try.
