Ukrainian drones are currently attacking war supply factories 250 miles from the borders inside Russia. Too early to tell if the attacks were successful.

No, it does not make me happy. Call me a realist who hopes he is incorrect.

Funny part of this is NATO got stronger out of it. Then again, the US has been cooperating with Sweden and Finland for many years and Sweden especially punches well above their weight class.

Long term, the US + NATO + Japan + SK +AUS +NZ... etc need to figure out a long-term plan. China is rising and gathering minions (Like Russia, like many along its road initiative. "The west" better have its long-term game plan figured out.
How about those countries you just mentioned stop with their expansionist goals, and world economic order dominating ideas. Let us not forget the Iraq war, and suffering brought upon middle eastern countries, Cuba, and many other nations. Western powers brought it on themselves with consistent hypocritical global policies. This conflict could have been prevented from start. If you are a realest as you state, then you should be able to see how geopolitics work. There are no good guys.

How dare you! The interactive map below clearly shows Russia's expansion into Europe and necessity for those countries to protect themselves!!

The reported loss of 13 Russian aircraft in February — 10 Su-34s, two Su-35s, and one A-50 — marks a hot streak for Ukraine and its greatest results since last fall.

None of the aircraft are replaceable.

Macron standing by his statements:

Quote:
PARIS - French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday said his refusal to rule out the prospect of sending Western troops to Ukraine was intentional, despite the uproar it has provoked.

I won't hold my breath waiting for French troops to show up.

You think half a million dead Ukie soldiers are? War $hit gets blown up people die on both sides. Materiel is lost on both sides. Thing is Russia can afford to lose at the rate of NATO/US and still win. Unless you believe the piano player the rate of loss isn't even close for Ivan.

Ukraine is short on troops.

Russia is providing evidence that Ukraine is sending under age and over age people to the front.

A 17 year old Ukrainian girl was just killed in a counter attack to try and plug a Russian break through.

In the evenings I teach ESL (English as a second language) classes to adults. There is a noticeable uptick of younger Ukrainian men in the classes. I don't bring up the war, but sometimes they are a bit outspoken on it, while they are safely here in the states. When they are here avoiding fighting, it isn't convincing to their cause to make the argument they need money in Ukraine. They were smart to get out of harm's way. Maybe they should leave it at that.

Correct, Zelensky actually banned all males from leaving the country.

Yesterday, 2nd Abrams was destroyed at Berdychi/Orlovka. Abrams were supposed to be the weapon of the last reserve. 2 in the last 5 days or so. Clear indication - last reserves ARE being employed.
