I'm sorry but you are very wrong. Yes the older kids help what is so wrong with that? I suppose it would be better for them to be lazy, and not have a clue about how to complete real life task?
Michelle and Jim Bob are both very hands on parents, but of course you (used as a generalization, not you personally) wouldn't know that because you DO NOT know them personally.
No, I certainly don't know them personally. My opinion is that parents should parents, children should not parent. I really don't care about the Digggers, good for them with their 15 minutes of fame. I just don't feel that they really deserve any kind of praise.
Freak show. Plus no doubt some serious issues when one needs to breed like an out-of-control rabbit. The gene pool keeps getting shallower and shallower.
Two quick points here:
#1: the Duggars can care for their brood.
#2: for every Duggar family---------there are probably 20 people the same age as the parents who have no children.
welp, jesus always said to live long and have as many kids as you can. God has blessed me with 5 children so far and we are workin on about 7 more within the next 6 years. We got to build our army for god.
Amen brother! I got 2 but that's all I want and can handle maybe more later.
And the odds are slim and none that every one of those 19 kids will even have any children let alone 19 of their own.
the oldest has already started and plans to leave "spacing and number of kids" up to God. Chances are pretty good that many of the Dugger kids will have many children of their own. maybe not 19, but lots.
Ill have more. Its just funny you crying and acting like a child like so many others here and are trying to stick your nose where it does not belong in this families buisness.
Poorly educated people tend to make that decision.

While I don't understand the quiverfull movement, I don't have a problem with this. Matter of fact, I don't care how many kids a couple has, as long as no public assistance is needed. That's where I draw the line.

I don't know--perhaps I agree with the 'live and let live' philosophy as long as you are self-supporting and are law-abiding but every time I see Michelle Duggar breastfeeding an infant while interacting with a classroom full of children of all ages I have some doubts.
Enough is enough and since God provided me with a brain as well as a uterus then I assume I can make a 'choice' about the number of children I bear.
A couple of times I have heard Josh say that a smaller family would be OK with him. Wherther he means this or it is another way of saying 'as many as God sees fit', I can't say.
