Can you ever remember a long-time friend ever vouching for him?
As a matter of fact, I happen to know Nancy McCullough. She's the woman in the top row, 3rd from Barack Obama's left (the only woman "lit") in this picture of his fellow Law Review colleagues. Not only have I spoken to her personally about President Obama, but even you can scroll your little cursor over her image in that link and see what she has to say about him.
"A lot of people at the time were just talking past each other, very committed to their opinions, their point of view, and not particularly interested in what other people had to say," said Crystal Nix Hines, a classmate who is now a television writer. "Barack transcended that."
. . .
"If anybody had walked by, they would have assumed he was a professor," said Thomas J. Perrelli, a classmate and former counsel to Attorney General Janet Reno. "He was leading the discussion but he wasn't trying to impose his own perspective on it. He was much more mediating."
. . .
Even in his first year, students saw Obama as a peacemaker. When his class needed someone to present an end-of-the-year gift to one stuffy contracts professor, the students chose Obama, who delivered a brief, gracious tribute.
"It was a moment of diffused tension and levity," said Kenneth W. Mack, a Harvard Law School professor who was in Obama's class. "He pulled it off."
. . .
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.
And as for his Law Review article(s), there was only one (as editor it wasn't his job to write, but to oversee), which dealt with fetal rights issues and Obama's article can be found on page 823 of Volume 103 of the Harvard Law Review, which is available in libraries and subscription-only legal databases.
Why do you post nonsense that's so easily verifiably false?
....Why do you post nonsense that's so easily verifiably false?
Because right-wing propeganda relies on people not doing some basic research for themselves, and taking everything spouted by neocon talking heads as gospel truth.
Dr. Savage has suggested for the birthers to drop their case, not because he believes they're necessarily wrong in their assertion. But, it's too politically risky to go out on a limb like that and have the WH either produce legitimately or fraudulently an impeccable birth document. If the Federal Reserve can draft counterfeit green paper things and billions of idiots gobble them up and use them daily, you can bet your life the gubmint can draw up something appearing legitimate if need be.
Judge David O. Carter is a US District Court Judge and he's allowed the hearing and it will be heard today. The DOJ has been in a panic with motion after motion to get it dismissed. But the Judge won't dismiss it because the evidence is REAL.
There's no reason why people should give up the fight to protect the Constitution.
