To answer the OP's title question: Xanax, zombie movies, and retail therapy.
It also helps to think of all the things I can do as a single person that I couldn't do as a couple. I don't have to shave my legs every day if I don't want to, I can fart in bed, and I have total control of the remote.

LOL, very true. Except I still can't go too long without shaving because even though no one else sees it, I can't stand the hair myself.

Then there appears to be more than one young man out there who is so angry at all women because of the actions of a few, he chooses to punish them as a collective gender by withholding his........whatever it is you think you have to offer. Can't quite think of what that is though.
