As a side note, I'm actually thankful things are mellowing out a little in the booty department. I remember being in HS or even junior HS and it was just brutal... I don't know how I can say this without passing pg13, but I remember just having erections that seemed to last forever and would be painful at some point, seeing some girl in HS and just not being able to think straight, heart racing, burning and aching in your your lower regions.........
It's much better being a bit older and not being a slave to the penis.... LOL, at least not as much....
I dont even agree that young men have erections 24/7...while, I may sound like a hypocrite since I was a raging hornball as a youth, I think men are individuals as are women. To say that all or even most men want sex 24/7 is just not the case. And to say that women were ever chaste virgins until a 2013 study declared that they werent is equally narrowminded. There's no way in hell this should be a revelation to anyone. Women's sexuality was never one dimensional or unrealized by societies. And they werent shamed or controlled because people were afraid of a woman's inability to control herself; open sluttiness was discouraged because until recently contraception was scarce if not nonexistent. Having a bunch of bastard kids roaming around, with judges trying to play wack-a-mole with their gavel trying to find a man to hold accountable, who may or may not be the child's father (before DNA testing was refined), is a costly and avoidable expenditure of resources for a society. Its common sense. Anyone: man or woman is going to enjoy their new found freedoms once the negative consequences are removed. Childbirth, or even pregnancy isnt some looming danger to women who love sex, like it was at one time.
This thread has turned into something that reminds me of an old joke.
An 80 y/o man walks into his doctor's office .
Man: Doc, please help me! I can't keep my erection for years already!
Doctor: Have you tried the pills? Viagra?
Man: That's dangerous for my health, I'm 80 years old!
Doctor: So why are you obsessed with having sex if you can't keep an erection and don't want viagra? Masturbation is best and safest bet.
Man: But all of my friends are talking that they have sex with their wives, and they are all about the same age like me!
Doctor: Well, nobody stops you from talking about having sex either!
P.S. this isn't off-topic at all, it's actually very on-topic and sums the whole thread

This may be true in the older women, but I just didn't see it in women from 18 to 25 or so.... it seemed like men that age have an erection 24/7, I know I did, and it just didn't seem the same for women of that group, I can't speak for them just anecdotally.
Because women that age are terrified of developing a reputation. Until I was 25 or 26 I found it hard to even flirt with a guy in public because other people would think I was a skank. I grew up in a fairly small area and the gals with reputations (most of which, as I learned later, were completely unearned) were treated like scum. I didn't want to be that girl.
Interestingly, one of the girls with a near spotless reputation also gave up her child for adoption in high school and slept with 50+ men by the time she was in her mid twenties...she was smart to be demure and shy and generally only hooked up with guys from out of town. Smart chickie that one.... she had zero issues finding a husband though.

When men don't "handle it" well is when you have had 20+ partners.
I hope that explains things a bit better and makes it more clear.
The article is 'doctored'.
And how would they ever know? I'm not interested in knowing how many partners my partner had in the past and it's none of his business how many I've had, even though it's faarrrr less than 20.
Sounds good on paper but haven't met a woman yet that was interested in having a real relationship with two men.
That might not have come up with the women you were with personally, maybe because she sensed you wouldn't be ok with it? But you may well have met women in such a relationship (as in: they crossed your path, you had a conversation), but you wouldn't know about the intimate details of their life. You better believe that in our society, a woman being in a LTR with more than one guy is kept on the down low. Puritanism is still alive and well in America, and women know to be discreet in order to avoid being burned at the stake. As Jet Jockey's post so handily points out.

Heh That's funny.
I feel like my sex drive has been steady my whole life from puberty up until now.
I always think the discussions about the genders sex drive are so silly. Someone would have to be both a man and woman in the same life in order to compare accurately.

I wouldn't ask... If I felt as though I had to, I would "step off".
Strangely enough many of the MOST beautiful and sexiest women have had less then 20 partners.
Many of the women who have had more are likely far less good looking in the looks department and feel as though they "have to" to get (that man).
See pics posted previous.
Sure, some guy will/might fall for it.
Men are stupid and horndogs.
I've also noticed "flirts" have far less partners.
Send my that nude pic baby.
I'll take them over the lady grinding crotch on every stiffy in the bar.

Hm, yeah, there's still Puritanism--the roots are dying, but we still have a weed problem; nonetheless, though, I think too many people overestimate the extent to which Puritanism still makes the rules (just throwing that out there).

That's a good attitude, Jet, but what do you say to the type who insists that not only are they dating/marrying you, but dating/marrying your past as well?

Yes, we did. You just didn't know it. Are you unaware of the cultural reasons for women to keep their horniness a secret?
