That number drops below 5 percent for both male and female virgins aged 25 to 29 and goes as low as 0.3 percent for virgins aged 40 to 44.

Not that it matters. What matters is whether it's something to be ashamed of, which it's not. Also even 0.3 percent of the population is still a lot of people.

I don't understand why so many one post wonders make virginity threads on this forum. This isn't typical. Makes me wonder if they are all just the same guy constantly creating new accounts and posting the same question over and over again.
The only people who get AIDS in the western world are people with risky lifestyles (sex workers, drug users, gay men with a death wish etc) and no medical care. People with HIV who give a **** about their health get treatment, do not get sick, do not get AIDS and do not pass the disease to their partners.
It's funny that so many adults know so little about sexual and reproductive health.
Just an aside though. STDs are no fun and can be expensive and a pain in the ass to treat.

Do you think those things are 100% effective? I think not. Hey, if you think the risk is worth it, be promiscuous. I'm saying promiscuity and especially seeing sex workers is not what I'd advise.
Almost needs its own forum so they can all talk to each other about not having sex.
For some reason they have been convinced this is a flaw and there is something wrong with them.
The same people that have convinced virgins they are flawed are the same ones who refer to women
who have had a few sexual partners as used, easy, damaged, tramps, etc.
They are also the same people that refer to men who have had more than a few sexual partners as studs.
I honestly don't think there is a way to make them realize they are not flawed or fix the double standard.
