I don't have a set time line but on average about 5-6 weeks if we saw each other 2-3x a week. And I'm not a one time girl either I want to be sure there will be seconds
Your not gonna win this one here, Ive said similar things and have been dismissed. You must have lived through the same 70s and 80s I did, not the ones these other posters experienced. In my humble opinion people are WAY more sexually permissive and free spirited today then they were back then. Today there is no right and wrong, just shades of grey. Just read the posts in this thread as evidence of what I say, anyone who speaks of moral standards or their religious views regarding sex is backward, deluded and outdated.

And then, when those sexually promiscuous chickens come home to roost, as it were, through a variety of ways, then there are these frantic movements to deal with or in some cases, escape the consequences. As a high-schooler in the 70s, I had some female classmates who slept around, but they were in the minority. The "good girls" were the ones everyone respected, sympathized with, and wanted to help. Boys openly respected the good girl, and even if they were getting at the "fast" girls just like all the rest of the fellas, (yes, that was hypocrisy) they still wanted to date and be seen in public with a girl who did NOT sleep around. Now a woman who doesn't sleep around is accused of lesbianism, psychosis, Jesus-crazy and other disrespectful labels.
You could say that. Guys value and respect women like you for long term committed relationships that lead to marriage. “Easy†women have never been considered anything long term and certainly not marriage material.
Sure. And 10 years down the road, these will be the same men complaining bitterly that their wives have little interest in sex. But, to each his own.
What if you just want to have some hanky, with no panky? Or panky, with no hanky?
Ok, seriously though, just do it when it feels right to you. If that happens to be the first date, so be it. If it happens to be when the two of you decide to be committed, then so be it.

I think, well, the ones I heard the details on (closer friends) weddings over the last decade happened like this. They had sex the first date or before the first date.
I find the problem with dating today is that too many people are exposed to porn or have different erotic preferences it makes having a first date romp really awkward.
There are some women that are already looking forward to romping on the 1st date and already insist what they want. It sort of killed the surprise element.
