1) He isn't a janitor, which was the other person mentioned.
2) What your husband does is not work. Work is physical. He probably exercises his mind, but your husband applies himself to a PROFESSION, not "work". I actually "work" for a living. Mental activities are far too easy for me.
Basically what the libs are going to do is either give tax breaks to women, or will basically say that women only have to work 6 months a year but get paid the same as a man working 12 months a year.
I'm not saying they're not. I'm not even saying that they do not apply themselves at what they do, or excel at it. I'm just saying that it isn't technically "work" because it is not physical labor. Work if the application of force over distance.
Im not sure Im understanding why physical work is supposed to be more valuable than mental work?...one works the brain, the other works the body...whats the big deal?

If I could have their job for the same pay, I'd take it in a heart beat on some days.
not in physics.. YOu gotta cause movement for it to be work.
Ok, lets here the argument that there isn't any action/movement in the brain/nervouse system to and fro in mental work. This should be good.
eta: Even beyond pure mental work action is always present when working. So, the argument is now degree of action?
