No non I saw on the Daybell fence. It was on a fence across the street. Do you know what day the trial starts ?
Chad's is set to start mid November, I think, but there's no way it'll happen that soon. The death penalty will be added within a few weeks, and he will need death penalty qualified lawyers who will need time to get up to speed on the case.
Lori is in a mental institution being restored to competency to stand trial. She has not even entered a plea yet, so her trial is a long ways off too.
An audio recording on Lori’s phone is titled “Lori’s testimony.” Investigators say in the recording Lori “is self-prophesying and everything she does is because her Heavenly Father tells her.”
Why would she record herself saying that? Was she thinking she could get caught, and thought that might help her if it was known that she truly believed God told her to do these things?
The story includes few other juicy details, plus a few things in the FOIA that clear up some timelines and details.
The whole case stinks, this woman married a man who murdered his wife and her kids. The picture in Hawaii of her dancing around after her kids were killed, while he plays the ukulele, is absolutely disgusting. Two psychos coming together to create mayhem. There are women who let low life boyfriends abuse and kill their kids, you read stories like this in the tabloids. If we’re lucky, this pair will be given the death penalty or life without parole.
Lori may have just said "I don't want these dogs" not knowing if he would take them to a shelter, shoot them, or leave them in the desert. Not sure why Dr. John seems stuck on that point, but thanks for the video!
The prosecutors cited several reasons why this case is eligible for the death penalty:
The alleged murders were “committed for remuneration” (financial gain).
The alleged murders were “especially heinous, atrocious, cruel, or manifesting exceptional depravity.”
The defendant exhibited “an utter disregard for human life.”
The defendant has exhibited “a propensity to commit murder and will probably constitute a continuing threat to society.”
