In Memory Of My Sister, Patty

Posted 03-22-2012 at 05:39 PM by susieJD

A year ago today, my little sister Patty Needham left us to be with our Lord in Heaven. She died suddenly, at the age of 60.

I miss her everyday and can't believe that she left so soon, so suddenly. My heart hurts whenever I think of her and picture her face and hear her laugh.

I wish that I had been there, at least to see her and know that she was not well....

I really don't see anything wrong with a bunch of kids playing basketball using a portable goal in a cul-de-sac.

Have you ever been kept up until 1am by some one playing basketball in the street when you have to get up at 5 am to go to work? There is no more annoying sound than that of a bouncing basketball and a parent who tells you to mind your own business when you nicely remind the kid what time...

End of Week 1

Posted 03-22-2012 at 10:51 AM by LookinForMayberry

Yesterday ended my first week of being unemployed. The few days were pretty anxious, but by Monday morning I was driven to action and spent Monday and Tuesday cleaning house and looking for work. With so much accomplished, I felt comfortable taking yesterday off.

The day was gloriously bright and brisk, with a breeze. Bigun usually has his nose stuck to the ground throughout our walk, unless he's marking territory, but with the breeze blowing his nose was held high and he pranced....
It all comes down to the Golden Rule.

"JUSTICE FOR TRAYVON MARTIN"

Posted 03-22-2012 at 10:02 AM by Tricia91764

IT'S SAD TO SAY THAT THERE ARE STILL RACIST PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO DO NOT OR CAN NOT GET OVER THE FACT THAT AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE HUMANS AND HAVE JUST AS MANY RIGHTS AS THEY DO. THE QUESTION IS WHAT DID AFRICAN AMERICANS DO TO BE PUT IN SUCH SITUATIONS AS RACISM? IT'S NOT WHAT AFRICAN AMERICANS DID IT'S WHAT THE WHITE GENERATION DID. I AM NOT RACIST AND I WAS NOT RAISED TO BE RACIST BUT IN MY OPINION MY ANCESTORS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO SUFFER THEY WAY THEY DID BY THE WHITE GENERATION. THERE SHOULD...

ovarian cysts burst

Posted 03-22-2012 at 06:58 AM by vballgirl2010

I was woken up in the middle of the night by super horrible pain in my lower abdomen. I was told like 2 months ago that my ovaries look like bubble wrap due to the cysts. I was not given any meds or anything just sent home and told to deal with it. I believe last night one burst (Ive had 2 burst and it felt the same). What should I do since my drs dont want to treat or help me?
