Cities that don't "suit" their climate

I can't attest to the quality of the art therapy program, but I know a number of music, art, and music therapy students and teachers at Converse and have no complaints! It is a lovely school, small campus, single ed (except for graduate programs).



BTW, for your daughter...if she is into music, search online for Lawson

Black Walnuts

This morning I am baking a "Pumpkin/Black Walnut Tea Bread". I seasoned it with cinnamon and nutmeg and ginger. Soon my kitchen will be fragrant with fall.

I havent had black walnuts in years. When I was a kid, I used to go out with my father and gather wild black walnuts....trying to beat the squirrels to the favorite trees. This was in North Hatley Quebec and also in Ohio.

Black Walnuts are tedious and difficult to open and...
