Okay, I am NOT a Palin supporter.
However, I would like to point out that it might do to further the research regarding #3, specifically in how it pertains to the children. The whys and wherefores of the original complaint (s).
In fact, Im going to do that myself....I'm off to read....

Yes, but some were from appeals from the prevous governor or even earlier. Palin being the Gov. is going to be the one named in all State affairs good and bad, as will the next Gov. after her.

Wrennie, you just reminded me of when Rudy J. sent those boys off to "exile" on one of the small islands....

LOL, Met. Seems like a l..o..n..g time ago, but not really, huh?
BTW, I'm glad you weren't hurt by that explosion, I'm sorry you're in a green shopping rut, and I'd always figured you must have lived on Annette for awhile! I love reading your stuff...

I didn't know to what degree, just heard he was. I don't know if there is any true 100% left in the State, there has been two centuries of Russian trappers, traders, and a little of over 140+ years of U.S. trappers, miners, traders and whalers to boot. There was interracial marriages and a lot of "Tepee" creeping went on too.

Most have Russian names, Irish and a host of other names. Very few of the traditional names around.

I have no idea of how you would even find out if someone was 100% of any tribal group in Alaska. I just know there are a lot of good people here and that is what matters more than race.

She didn't have to continue certain litigation, such as in the case of Alaska v. Norton (which began with Murkowsi, I think). And in that case, if memory serves, she actually used Ted Steven's brother's law firm instead of utilizing normal protocol, which would mean that the case would be handled by the AG.

She could give it up anytime and has chosen not to, even after a ruling by a fed. appeals court. Murkowski may have started that one, but she has the ability to finish it and she won't do it. She'd rather tell me I can't go snag a silver for dinner but by god some lower 48 commercial carpetbagger can have that fish.

No, Wrennie, I didn't live on Annette. Nicest people there though.

I wonder what happened to those kids. I saw old R. in Klawock awhile ago.

And sorry, but she's got no right to try to capitalize on her husband being 1/16 Yup'ik. That means nothing. Hell I'm probably 1/16 Chinese from back when Ghengis Khan went zipping through Northern Europe.
