Thanks for your anti-Japanese comment again. Why don't you just tell us how far Guam or Hawaii are located from the mainland?
You misunderstood me. I called Davy a Japanophile because he always takes the Japanese position above all circumstances it seems to me. In other words, he has a strong Japanese bias and hardly objective.
I'm from one of the US's far flung territories and I consider my island and myself American. Tibet and Xinjiang are Chinese territory as much as Okinawa is Japanese territory. I am pro status quo. The only territorial dispute I do not agree with is the division of Korea, which I favor the ROK. The DPRK's only function in life is to serve as China's bulldog guarding it's house since the West and their Asian allies (ROK and Japan) is trying to bring down Beijing from all sides.

It is. I mean, come on, in Davy's case he wants China to be broken up, but he wouldn't do that to his own country's former Netherlands Antilles . People shouldn't throw stones in glass houses. For better or worse, it doesn't make sense that everyone is dog piling on China (nothing new since the Opium Wars)

They can become independent, no problem for me but not under the flag of Venezuela.
West Papua should go back to the Netherlands. The people in that region (mostly Christians) enjoy less rights than the average Indonesians (Muslims).
How can you compare tiny Netherlands with gigantic China who has 27 provinces larger than the Netherlands
