Mark 15:42 - And now when the even was come, because it was preparation, that is, the day before the Sabbath,"

Even - evening - To the followers of Jesus, it is correct that it was already evening but it was still Preparation Day because the day changes at midnight yet. Did you get that?

peacecrusader888,
re: "A purely lunar calendar and a lunisolar calendar start the day at sunset and end the following day sunset. Do you have any question on this?"

No.

re: "A solar calendar like the Julian calendar starts the day at midnight yet. Do you have any question on this?"

No, other than wondering why you add the word "yet" after midnight.

What is your point with those two statements? How do they explain the difference it makes with regard to Thursday, Friday, Saturday,Sunday and Monday not involving at least parts of 5 calendar days?

re: Wednesday, ,Jesus crucified - Thursday, ,1 1 Jesus crucified - Friday, ,2 2 1 (24 hours) - Saturday, ,3 3 2 (24 hours) - Sunday, ,4 4 3 (24 hours) - Monday, ,5 5 Jesus resurrected after midnight..."

Now you've added a 6th day. I think you're just messing with me.

I am not messing with you. You have set your mind to the Jewish way of counting the number of days. For your information, Jesus died at exactly 12 noon of Thursday, or the sixth hour, according to the spirit of Ama. For your information still, He resurrected on Monday at a little past midnight (Pasiong Mahal, page 177).

So from Thursday to Monday:
Thursday - Crucifixion of Jesus, Preparation Day, 12 noon
Friday - Day 1 in the sepulcher, 24 hours
Saturday - Day 2 in the sepulcher, 24 hours
Sunday - Day 3 in the sepulcher, 24 hours
Monday - first day of the week, discovery of the missing body of Jesus

A purely lunar calendar (354-355 days in one lunar year) starts the day at sunset and ends the following day at sunset.

A lunisolar calendar (353-385 days in one lunar year) starts the day at sunset and ends the following day at sunset. A month of 30 days is intercalated seven times at about every three years in a 19-year Metonic cycle.

A solar calendar (365/366 days in one solar year) starts the day at 12 midnight and ends the following day at midnight. (I put 'yet' after midnight to compare the solar calendar with the purely lunar calendar and the lunisolar calendar.) A day is intercalated at about every four years.

And the writers of Matthew, Mark and Luke write that it was around the ninth hour. So since we're trying to "reason" from different pages of music, I think we're done here.

Christians need to worry about when Jesus was crucified and died because that is the basis of their faith. So there is a need to right this part. And we have the spirit of Ama revealed when this happened.

Also, you have to worry about 2018-07-04, the Independence Day of the USA. Ama said that World War III will happen in the middle of the year on a Wednesday at Spratly Islands. 2018-07-04 is a Wednesday and in July, one of two months in the middle of the year. I am just sharing to you what I heard and learned from Ama.

What the spirit of Ama told us is to read the King James Version of the Holy Bible because it is "nearer the truth" (than other versions). When He said that it is "nearer the truth", that means that there are flaws in it. It is not 100% reliable. When you cited Matthew, Mark and Luke, there is already inconsistency. They mentioned the "ninth hour". But they were not eyewitnesses. Neither were the writers (according to Ama, they were the children of the disciples who wrote the Holy Bible).

I use the red-letter edition wherein the words of Jesus are printed in red. I believe they are correct. They were not changed. But those printed in black, it is up to you whether you will believe it or not.

According to Ama, those who died at exactly 12 noon go to Heaven straight away.

Jesus gave 1 sign and 1 sign only that he would be the Messiah and it was that he would be in the grave 3 days and 3 nights, yet many still are teaching a Friday death and Sunday morning resurrection of 1.5 days to be equal to 3 days/3 nights, even though the Jews never counted time like that.

14th Wednesday Died @ 3PM
and placed in grave right before sunset
15th Thursday Sabbath(Feast of Unleavened Bread) No work allowed
16th Friday
17th Saturday Sabbath- No work allowed & Rose from the grave after sunset on 1st day of the week when Sabbath was over

14th Thursday Died @ 3PM and placed in grave right before sunset
15th Friday-Sabbath(Feast of Unleavened Bread): No work allowed
16th Saturday-Sabbath: No work allowed
17th Sunday -Rose from the Grave

3PM and placed in grave right before sunset
15th Saturday: Dual Sabbath(Feast of Unleavened Bread) No work allowed

Its only a Wed or Thursday that could work and fit scriptures, as Jesus death on the cross put and end to sacrifices as well.

Daniel 9:26-27King James Version (KJV)
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
It is only mental gymnastics when using a greco/roman perspective.

Punn intended.

I thought I was pretty good at getting puns, but I fail to see this one.

26 And after the sixty-two weeks, the anointed one will be cut off, and he will be no more, and the people of the coming monarch will destroy the city and the Sanctuary, and his end will come about by inundation, and until the end of the war, it will be cut off into desolation.

Rashi:

And after: those weeks.

the anointed one will be cut off: Agrippa, the king of Judea, who was ruling at the time of the destruction, will be slain.

and he will be no more: Heb. וְאֵין לוֹ, and he will not have. The meaning is that he will not be.

the anointed one: Heb. מָשִׁיחַ. This is purely an expression of a prince and a dignitary.

and the city and the Sanctuary: lit. and the city and the Holy.

and the people of the coming monarch will destroy: [The monarch who will come] upon them. That is Titus and his armies.

and his end will come about by inundation: And his end will be damnation and destruction, for He will inundate the power of his kingdom through the Messiah, and until the end of the wars of Gog the city will exist.

cut off into desolation: a destruction of desolation.

27 And he will strengthen a covenant for the princes for one week, and half the week he will abolish sacrifice and meal- offering, and on high, among abominations, will be the dumb one, and until destruction and extermination befall the dumb one.

Rashi:

And he will strengthen a covenant for the princes for one week: לָרַבִּים, for the princes, like “and all the officers of (רַבֵּי) the king,” in the Book of Jeremiah (39:13).

will strengthen: Titus [will strengthen] a covenant with the princes of Israel.

for one week: He will promise them the strengthening of a covenant and peace for seven years, but within the seven years, he will abrogate his covenant.

he will abolish sacrifice and meal-offering: This is what he says in the first vision (8:26): “and in tranquility he will destroy many.” Through a covenant of tranquility, he will destroy them.

and on high, among abominations will be the dumb one: This is a pejorative for pagan deities. i.e., on a high place, among abominations and disgusting things, he will place the dumb one, the pagan deity, which is dumb like a silent stone.

high: Heb. כְּנַף, lit. wing, an expression of height, like the wing of a flying bird.

and until destruction and extermination befall the dumb one: and the ruling of the abomination will endure until the day that the destruction and extermination decreed upon it [will] befall it, in the days of the king Messiah.

befall the dumb one: Heb. תִּתַּ, reach; and total destruction will descend upon the image of the pagan deity and upon its worshippers.
