I am just kind of curious if you would be upset if God really did save all mankind because Christ ransomed all per 1 Timothy 2:4-6.
Would that sadden you to see your loved ones saved even if they never set foot in church?
what the heck is wrong with you?
I do think that people who are cold and manipulative that hurt other people should be held accountable. There are people out there devoid of what I call empathy that have no problem torturing another sentient being, even deriving pleasure from that. There are people who have no problem scamming someone and seemingly have no remorse. I don't know what divine penalty that should merit.

If you knew that they would have to experience everything they ever inflicted on anyone else to learn empathy and the meaning of agape love, would you still want them eternally tormented? That is what "reap what you sow" means.
If you're the type of person who would be upset with the Sovereignty of God; you'd better just count your blessings, be overjoyed you were chosen and stop being concerned with who else & why they were saved.

No I would not want anyone eternally tormented. I wouldn't even necessarily want them to experience all the pain they inflicted. I am for the death penalty for a very few certain crimes but I wouldn't go along with that person being tortured beforehand. It serves no purpose. Just because they can't feel other's pain doesn't mean they can't feel their own. It's still suffering of another being. I honestly question the character of someone who would accept and enjoy a great reward for themselves if they knew other sentient beings were being tortured at the same time.
The group I was in doesn't believe in hell. They believe by being obedient to a group of men they will reap everlasting life and anyone who calls BS on these guys will just cease to exist. The destruction beforehand is straight out of a horror movie though.

It ends up being the ultimate irony, L8. They literally are doing it to themselves because what they do to others IS actually being done to themselves in more ways than one. Reaping what you yourself sow is the ultimate irony.

I don't think that applies to people who are sociopaths. I understand how someone who is simply disordered makes life as hard on themselves as others. It's sad to watch my Jehovah addicted mother back herself further and further into a corner as she destroys family out of misplaced loyalty. I believe she suffers more than I do in her attempt to "discipline" her nearly 50 year old daughter by shunning. The people running the scam suffer no consequences or pain. They, like many others who harm in the name of God, will probably never have to answer for what they have done.
