Yes, it is true. I have no problem hearing the sound of a snake in its own habitat.
But then, I understand why he turned over the "tables" of those selling a sacrifice.
Then why do you follow his hiss?
And I understand why He turned over the tablets of the heart wherein it was not written of Him, but of the love of mammon/self gain (including gaining the admiration of men without the knowledge of the Truth), being "seated" in the high places, ie. every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of G-d (which includes His commandments). Peace

I follow his commandments of LOVING GOD and EACH OTHER which are not grievous or difficult.
And the fact that he never demanded a blood sacrifice, so you can quit trying to sell it.

So I should listen to man and not G-d? I don't think so. The Truth of the Word stands forever. Peace

No, you should listen to Jesus. Jesus IS the Word and the Comforter is sent in His name to guide us to the truth God has "written in our hearts." As long as you insist on looking only at the words "written in ink," you will miss the truth "written in our hearts."

You've already missed it, you think your heart literally has to die to receive it! Peace

Wrong. I do NOT believe I have to die to receive it. I believe I have to die to be "born again" AS Spirit - a huge difference. You think you are born again while still in your flesh which is NOT what Jesus said. That which is born of Flesh is Flesh and that which is born of Spirit is Spirit. You refuse to recognize that we are "conceived" by God as "embryo Spirits" and we must grow and mature in this physical womb to be "born again" as Spirit upon our physical death. Our superstitious ancestors were so terrified of Spirits that they would never have been ready for this spiritual "solid food" and had to be fed the "carnal milk" of physical resurrection.

Yes, I DO refuse your doctrine on this, because it is NOT spiritual (as in, not the His Spirit), nor scriptural.
Maybe yours were; mine were busying recording their revelations of God, who is a Spirit, and who appeared to them in many forms. Peace
You can believe whatever you want, but it is still a book written by men.
Of course the Bible is a book written by men. The last time I looked the only ones on Earth who write books are people.
Although written by men the Bible is inspired by God (God chosen men) according to 2nd Timothy 3:16-17.
Unlike other religious books, the Bible is unique in its corresponding or parallel cross-reference verses and passages which show the internal harmony among it many Bible writers. That is why in Jesus' teachings that Jesus could often preface his statements with the words, " it is written....." meaning already written down in the old Hebrew Scriptures.

Amazing how even the most simple things are a major controversy. Peace
