The most unlike any others imHo is Honolulu. Everything there from the real tropical setting, to its food, music, clothes, cultural identity, even their accent(pigeon), the dominance of asians, their once having a King and royal family in the islands is all extremely unique in America.
That said, there are lots of other cities with their own uniqueness. What an awesome country this is to have so much variety.
That's more than just our accent. It's almost a separate language.
NYC puts itself in an odd position because its prides itself on having everything that every other city has. it's kinda like the saying "A man who lives everywhere lives nowhere".
it sure is too bad that disco, salsa and hip hop weren't evented in ny and don't classify as ny's own genres of music to meet your criteria, bored at work.
