However at 420,000 Atlanta will be smaller than McKinney in 10 years!
No offense, but a large number of US citizens have probably never heard of Corpus Christi and even more wouldn't be able to locate it on a TX map. As far as McKinney (another city most couldn't locate) is concerned, it wouldn't be much if it weren't for Dallas and Fort Worth.

Other peoples ignorance isn't my concern. The topic was most important city in the South. My point is Atlanta wouldn't even be Texas' most important city.

You are really quite obnoxious and have no idea what you are yapping about.......... TX is not the center of the UNIVERSE.

Huh? If Atlanta (with all its current attritubes - size, economy, educational institutions, etc...) were a TX city, it would rank right behind Houston.

Texas is not the center of the universe and it's not in the South either.
But Atlanta does only have 420,000 residents in the city proper? That is very small.

Lol Atlanta is smaller in population and in GDP. It's just a paper tiger.

SE Texas is very southern. I consider Dallas to be southern too.

As I stated before with only 420,000 residents Atlanta would make a nice addition to Dallas' collection of suburbs! Atlanta GDP pales in comparison to Dallas.
