The new building on Tresser and Atlantic is attractive, IMO. Now the St. John's Towers down the street - that's a different story.

I like St. John's Towers. They are an interesting product of their era (the 60's) and I would love to see them restored. The Treeser and Atlantic building is nice but I can't say I find some of the new towers in Harbor Point to be that attractive. JMHO, Jay

The new building on Tresser and Atlantic as well as the Trump building are the most amazing to look at when the sun is setting. The colors that reflect from the glass is simply amazing.

I tried to capture the beauty with my camera and there is simply no way to do that, despite that it still looks nice in photos. You simply have to see it in person. I don't know what they treat the glass with to produce those beautiful reflections of the setting sunlight, but I'm definitely glad they did it. lol Other glass towers in the city don't produce those amazing colors.

What is the name of this architectural style that is so popular among Fairfield county developers right now? It mixes brick, siding, colors, into some kind of mishmash. In my view this worked OK for the Waypointe. Less so for the NV, Baypointe, and Davenport Landing (is that still what they’re calling it?) based on the mock-up anyway. Or are these all totally different styles?

The one pictured above is just over 300ft. Just a tad shorter than 777 Main Street (Old Bank of America Building) in downtown Hartford and the Trump Parc in Downtown Stamford.

I agree that the new building on Tresser and Atlantic is beautiful. The original plan was to have a second tower built behind the former post office. Does anyone know if that is still happening?

I have seen renderings for a new building that would replace one of the old St. John's Towers (the empty one). It would be a great improvement. Check out page 23 below.
