Well I consider myself Independent but registered Republican so I can vote for Ron Paul in the primaries, so, I want Ron Paul to win. He's the only politician elected, besides Rand, that is serious about not playing the same ol' game of political football and going along with the elite. So he gets my vote for president. Unfortunately, he'll never win but! We musn't give up hope

Here is a list and from that I like Ralph Nader or Jesse Ventura if either one runs.

Default Barack Obama, easy

I'm an Independent, and my vote goes to Barack Obama. He has been an excellent president. He had the misfortune of taking over the country after Bush. Bush easily the worst in history. He also doesn't have the aid of a second major political group, as the GOP has long checked out. GOP a non-factor with their obstructionist tactics, petty, inaccurate, trite narratives, whining, clueless commentary, and failure to come up with ideas to solve problems.

We are fortunate to have Obama at the helm, and there isn't an opposition candidate who can touch him. He's here through 2016.

I'd pick Nader, but I don't think he's a serious candidate.

To echo an astute poster, if YOU are an Independent, then I am a Martian!
