Confession time: My dear sweet husband of 34 years gets home 2-3 hours before I do and has my supper ready most nights. I love to cook and do on weekends. But, I am BLESSED to have married a good cook!
If he cleans up after himself too, you could probably get a lot for him on eBay . Mine will cook on occasion, but the mess he leaves behind does not make it worth my while.
Today my husband made a slow cooker of homemade beef and vegetable stew. I made a pan of cornbread when I got home from work and some tea. It was warm and good.

Just to follow up about Paula Deen's...the restaurant is cozy. Truck stop food with steakhouse prices. It is in a very old building in Savannah. I had crab stuffed, bacon wrapped shrimp served with rice and asparagus. Someone else had the tilapia. Everything was fine, but not spectacular. We did not try the buffet. Bottom line, it looked like home cooked food, which is her intention. My dinner with a few drinks and tip was over $60.
