I do kind of think it a bit scary that velveeta can sit on the shelf in a box though.... I still like it.... don't get me wrong... I just can't think about it.....

Good Afternoon Foodie Friends: Happy Ann. Lacey. It is so nice to know we all are working so hard to be wed 50 years. We renewed our vows in Key West in Oct. (25 years). I had 2 cousins that were married 75 years.

I think if we all met up you would probably hear my mouth first. We all know writers are eccentric and would be me. I would probably talk about something stupid like my Webkinz and then go on to food. Time for road trips!

I made hm pepperoni pizza for lunch.
Chili is simmering right now for dinner, of course don't forget the Fritos.

I hope all the children get better soon.

skbs: Go see the dr., this thing lasted 2 weeks for me, I should have had stock in Kleenex.

Have a wonderful afternoon everyone.

A short day onion...Commercial name is Texas Granex....That is the seed that is planted...When grown farther north they can be dried and shipped..Ours are consumed fresh...It is something we always look forward to...If I can I will get a photo and put it in my album. Both of them growing in the field and a pulled one.
Thanks! I love sweet onions - especially Vidalia's!!!

LOL but it is cheese....That doesn't need to be put in the fridge first... it comes in a box and sits on a shelf..not the refigerated section..... that part kind of freaks me out. But I was raised on velveeta and crackers... Grilled Velveeta Sandwiches... it is just the idea that the box can sit on the shelf for a few months...before ya open it.... LOL.....

I'm thinking hamburger for tonight. Chopped salad to go with, kinda like Ruth's Chris style with lemon basil dressing and onion strings on top...

I'll bring the baked goods or would you rather have homemade egg noodles? I am coming early to get a front row seat so I don't miss any info by golly!

I think I got out voted on supper tonight we are having a hamburger casserole that has lots of velveeta, celery, macaroni and some cream of soups. They want the leftovers for after school said with meatloaf or burgers there wouldn't be any. I'll make a salad to go with it as well. I got "reminded" I didn't do any baking this past weekend.
