Oh, my, but I've enjoyed catching up with everyone here today! The laughter is so good for the endorphens, you know - or at least that's my excuse. It's great to come home to this other dinner table each night.

You can count me in as another one who hates big social occasions, and who is most likely to be found in the farthest, darkest corner of the room hoping that nobody finds me. It's funny how we all come out of our respective shells at Cyn's dinner table, isn't it? Maybe someday, somehow, we'll manage a real face-to-face gathering as well. One of us had probably best get busy winning the lottery first, though!

Supper tonight was delicious and fun, as the girls joined us for the evening as planned. The pork roast was tender and wonderful from its long, slow roasting time, and all the root vegetables yielded up their juices to become the basis for a simply wonderful gravy. The kids really enjoyed it, I think, and we get a kick out of expanding their food experiences, to say nothing of the lively conversation and laughter at the table when we all get together. A fun evening indeed!

And since tomorrow will be yet another long, long day of reconciling balance sheet variances, I'd best not stay up too late chattering. Have a good evening, all, and I'll see you tomorrow.

Hello everyone. Been a little busy with PT and taxes to check in here.

Tonight we are having my 7-layer casserole only this time I added some diced black olives I had left over from tacos the other night.

I created a chicken stew with potatoes, carrots, and red onions, served with roasted garlic bread and steamed asparagus. Then I took a pic of it...ROFL!

Therapy is going well. I'm up to a 98 degree bend and the therapist says I'm recovering well enough to switch to 1 time a week instead of 2 times. Next week I get to start doing the walking and gym exercises without the brace on (for a few minutes anyway)
